Plans to develop 75 new homes and major new sports facilities in the Hampshire village of Swanmore will go on public display tomorrow at Swanmore College of Technology's gymnasium between 3.30pm and 8pm.
Linden Homes want to build the properties on land at New Road, including up to 30 affordable homes, along with a multi-use community sports pitch.
To help persuade planners to approve the proposed scheme, the housebuilder would also invest in Swanmore College of Technology to help boost its drama and dance facilities. A final decision is expected to be made during the tail end of this year.
Michael O'Brien, director of planning and design at Linden Homes, said: "Through joint working with Hampshire County Council, the overall proposals would potentially help to deliver wider local benefits from helping fund enhancements to the college while providing its pupils and local community with a new state-of-the-art multi-use sports pitch."
