Redrow Homes is offering advice and assistance to homebuyers across the North East and North West this weekend at a number of its developments. The events are an opportunity for buyers to make a personal visit to see the new homes for sale and to speak to the Redrow team about a range of buying incentives.

On Saturday 16th March, the housebuilder launches a brand new development in Childwall, Merseyside. The company will be unveiling a ‘Richmond' show home at King David's Park at the collection of two-, four- and five-bedroom properties, located close to the M62 and within easy reach of both Liverpool and Manchester. The development will be open daily from 10.00am to 5.30pm.

Also on 16th March is a homebuyer "surgery" at Harbour Village in Fleetwood. The coastal development will host a team of mortgage specialists who can give personal advice to house-hunters who are interested in the range of two-, three-, and four-bedroom properties for sale at the development, priced from £137,995 - or £110,396 with the government-backed FirstBuy scheme for first-time buyers.

Just down the Fylde coast at Lytham Quays, all homebuyers are invited to find out more about another government assistance scheme, NewBuy, on Sunday 17th March. The scheme provides mortgages that require a deposit of as little as 5%, a help to buyers with limited savings or equity in their current home. Those selling a property can also find out about the Mastermove assistance scheme that takes the stress out of moving home. Prices here start at £239,995.

FirstBuy is on the agenda at College Court in Wigan, Greater Manchester on 17th March. With two-bedroom apartments priced from £99,995 at full market price, a deposit of just £5,000 is all that's required to buy a home at the development.

Over on the northeast coast, first-time buyers are being invited to find out about a range of incentives at Kirk's Paddock in Scartho, Grimsby on Sunday. Savings of around £6,648 and an initial outlay of £106,360 could be enough to get you on the property ladder at the scheme in a three-bedroom ‘Malvern' house.

"Despite the low price, those who purchase with FirstBuy or NewBuy will still be able to enjoy the benefits of owning a stylish new home with a high specification as standard," says Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire)."We include many of the essentials people need when setting up home, such as oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer, all of which are covered by manufacturers' guarantees."
