Focus on Norfolk

Often overlooked for west and south coast counties, Norfolk is largely rural and perfect for house-hunters looking for a more relaxing pace of life without the massive price tag associated with coastal properties.

With The Broads, a network of rivers and lakes with National Park status, along with some of the UK's most stunning beaches, living in Norfolk means having beauty on your doorstep. With nearly 40% of the county's population living there, Norwich is the main settlement in the county. The only city in Norfolk, Norwich is on the River Wensum and has a lot more to its economy than Colman's Mustard. With Norwich Research Park, which is currently undergoing a period of investment, two university campuses, and a strong financial market including Aviva, there is a wide selection of jobs available in the area.

With the investment being spent in the city, many new homes are currently available in a variety of styles including conversions and futuristic new builds. Norwich railway station has half
hourly trains to London Liverpool Street, which take just over 2 hours, along with links to Cambridge, Liverpool, Peterborough, Manchester and the Midlands.

There are also links to Norfolk's second largest settlement, Great Yarmouth. Many developers are investing in family homes and luxury properties in smaller communities around Norwich, further into the countryside and on the coast. The coastal properties in particular may
be an investment
