If you thought it was impossible to find a luxury property in W1 for under £1million you are wrong. Galliard Homes have transformed 43-45 Great Cumberland Place in Marylebone into seven individually designed one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The one-bedroom apartments are priced just below £1million and there is only one remaining in the converted late 19th century townhouses just metres away from Oxford Street.

There is one apartment per floor, spanning both buildings and providing two or three bedrooms. This arrangement gives each residence the benefit of its own totally private floor and personal lift lobby. On the lower ground level, there are two spacious one bedroom Mews apartments. One Mews flat has lower ground outside space and a private storage cellar while the other opens directly onto the historic and picturesque cobbled Wythburn Place mews.

All the apartments have a spacious living/dining room, an open plan kitchen/breakfast room and master bedroom suite, each with lined with bespoke fitted wardrobes and with a luxurious ensuite bathroom. The larger apartments have elegant Regency style fireplaces in the entertaining spaces, sash windows and beautiful bespoke joinery in the kitchens, bathrooms and bedroom suites. This is shown beautifully by the two-bedroom show apartment on the ground floor which was crafted by Bloc Interiors.

Due to the building's history, each apartment benefits from period features including fireplaces, cornices, feature ceiling mouldings and skirting and large bays with floor to ceiling sash windows which have been combined with new features including walk-in dressing rooms, mood lighting and private outside rooftop terraces, overlooking Wythburn Place mews, creating a luxurious boutique apartment scheme.

David Galman, Sales Director at Galliard Homes says: "This luxurious boutique development is the first of three new luxury residential schemes in Marylebone that Galliard Homes is launching in 2013, each located close to Oxford Street. As London's West End is becoming more residential it is attracting continental European and Asian buyers who are seeking either a London pied-a-terre or rental-investment opportunity. The benefit of having Selfridges, Bond Street and South Molton Street on the doorstep is a big magnet for these overseas buyers who like luxury brand names."

The luxurious specification at Great Cumberland Place ranks amongst Galliard Homes highest and includes fully integrated i-pad style touch screen home entertainment, audio and security technology providing access to music libraries, worldwide radio and global TV channels. Other features include comfort cooling/heating to the reception rooms and bedrooms, hardwood flooring to the entertaining areas, rich deep carpets to the bedrooms and stone flooring to the ensuites/bathrooms.

The kitchens have Miele integrated appliances, stone worktops and flooring and dark wood cabinets. The bathrooms have under-floor heating, marble flooring, Villeroy & Boch suites and slate stone feature walls with LCD televisions to the master ensuite bathrooms.
Prices at 43-45 Great Cumberland Street start from just under £1million for a 610sqft Mews apartment, from £2.3million for a two bedroom, two bathroom 1,100 sqft apartment.
