Rippon Homes has been awarded planning permission to develop a range of new family homes two miles north of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
The developer will start construction work on a mix of 30 detached and semi-detached properties on Portland Street in the village of Mansfield Woodhouse within the next few weeks.
The scheme, which will become the housebuilder's eighth on-going development within the town, will consist of a selection of three- and four-bedroom homes aimed at families looking for large contemporary homes.
"We have received planning permission for the creation of 30 new homes and are proud to be creating yet another new community in Mansfield Woodhouse," said Rippon's managing director, John Jones.
He continued: "We are looking forward to beginning work at the site on Portland Street and are confident that the vision we have for this site will appeal to today's house buyers, particularly families, as we are bringing our most popular house styles to the development, which combine modern interiors and spacious rooms with timeless exteriors.
"The site has been handpicked for this brand new community, as it is ideally located within walking distance of everyday amenities, and buyers making the move here can expect properties that incorporate our high quality craftsmanship and houses that feel like home from the minute you step through the door."
Rippon Homes has enjoyed strong new homes sales success at its Mansfield developments since the start of the year.
John Jones addd: "Our Mansfield developments are proving to be more popular than ever and this shows that we are listening to what house buyers want from a newly built home, in terms of space and layout, as well as understanding the importance of the location."
