House-hunters looking for a luxury new home in Wolverhampton should make a space in their diary this weekend to visit Compton Park, Redrow's development of executive detached properties in the sought-after residential suburb. The event takes place on both Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July and gives buyers the chance to see the development first hand.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), says: "Compton Park has been a hive of activity and has come a long way since we opened the show home in January. We have already welcomed the first residents and more people are due to move in over the coming weeks. But we appreciate that passers-by may not realise just how much progress we have made as the properties are set back from the main road. With that in mind we're inviting them to get up close and personal this weekend.

"They'll see that we now have an attractive street scene of homes that boast the traditional charm of ‘period' properties. And when they step inside the ‘Highgrove' and the ‘Buckingham' they will be able to appreciate the space, attention to detail and luxurious specification we're offering."

The ‘Highgrove' show home at the entrance to the development is an impressive property that has been fully decorated to show off the high-quality interior specification and spacious rooms to the maximum. There is also a ‘Buckingham' view home that visitors can have a look around, with five double bedrooms, four of which have en suites, a kitchen/family room, separate dining room, lounge and family bathroom. The master bedroom also has the luxury of a dressing room.

"Those who prefer more relaxed meal times could forego the dining room in favour of a study. Alternatively they could use this space as a second lounge and utilise one of the bedrooms as a home office," suggests Turnbull. "The design of the ‘Buckingham' really is quite flexible and we encourage buyers who don't need five bedrooms for sleeping to think about how else they could use all that space. If they have young children they may want to give them a play room, while fitness fanatics could create a home gym."

Prices start at £424,995 at Compton Park, with Help to Buy available on homes priced up to £600,000. Call the Redrow team on 01902 581089 to find out more.
