Housebuilder Bloor Homes will develop 33 new homes on a greenfield site in Kelsall after architecture practice, Broadway Malyan, successfully secured planning consent for the project on behalf of the developer.
Cheshire West & Chester Council's planning committee approved the new homes scheme, which will feature a wide selection of family properties and affordable homes.
Justin Cove, associate planner at Broadway Malyan, said: "The successful application reflects the suitability of the site, as well as our team's proactive approach to public consultation, working relationship with the council and partnership with the client."
More new homes are desperately needed in the Cheshire West & Chester area to meet the region's growing population which is predicted to rise by 11% to 368,900 by 2031.

Bloor Homes has started building work on the first phase of a new scheme in Felixstowe, which will feature 127 new homes, including 13 affordable homes, along with a range of leisure facilities. Property prices at the development start from £245,000.
Suffolk Coastal council and Bloor Homes struck a deal to build the new homes last year.
"We have worked hard to achieve a scheme that successfully enhances the South Seafront area," said a spokesperson.
