New affordable homes in Staffordshire
A partnership aiming to deliver in excess of 400 affordable homes in Staffordshire over the next three years, has submitted plans for the construction of 22 one-bedroom apartments in the market town of Leek. The new homes, which have been proposed by Ascent Housing, a joint venture between Harvest Housing Group and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, has applied to build the affordable properties at O'Hare Place, at the junction of Abbots Road and Novi Lane.

Affordable new homes in Gloucester
Housebuilder Linden Homes has had an application to reduce the affordable housing provision at its Greyfriars development on the former Gloscat site in Brunswick Road from 25% to 12.5% approved. The scheme will eventually feature a total of 254 new homes.

Affordable homes in Chester
Chester and District Housing Trust will build 16 affordable terraced houses on a former garage site and a playing field at Greenfields, Upton, after plans were approved by Upton councillor.

New affordable homes in Somerset
The Leadbitter Group has handed over 21 new affordable homes in Chard, Somerset, to social housing provider Yarlington Housing Group. The two- and three-bedroom houses will be available for affordable rent with eight of the units for sale under low cost home ownership.

Affordable new homes in Pembrokeshire
Pembrokeshire County Council planning committee is expecte to make a final decision in the next few days on an application to allow affordable homes in Milford Haven, located at 177-199 Skomer Drive, to be sold at open market value. The houses are on a site formerly known as the West Hill Farm Estate, on the northern edge of the town.

The first shared ownership apartments at Family Mosaics's Central Park in Lewisham have been made available to buy. The shared ownership homes at Central Park consist of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with 58 homes in total. Prices start at £69,125 for a 35% share, based on a full price value of £197,500.
