While everyone is frantically getting ready for Christmas, it's also been a busy time for Hillreed Homes. The south east developer have launched a new Show Home at their flagship development, Cathcart Gate, Kings Hill, near West Malling in Kent along with signing up for FirstBuy for several of the plots at the same development.
"This is a marvellous scheme which we have adopted for several of our plots at our flag ship development Cathcart Gate, Kings Hill in Kent", says Jo Richards, Marketing and Corporate Manager at Hillreed Homes.
Currently this creative scheme is available on six specific plots at Cathcart Gate. There is a two bedroom house at £237,950 plus several three bedroom houses ranging from £269,950 to £274,950.
Jo said: "We are delighted to be able to offer the FirstBuy Scheme on a number of our properties. We appreciate that there are numerous potential buyers desperate to own their own home and hopefully this scheme will make it possible for many of them to enjoy the pleasure of living in a brand new property."
Whilst not under the FirstBuy Scheme, ‘Plot 9' is the latest show home and is not yet being offered for sale but other ‘Cranbrook' house types, plots 5, 7 and 8, are now on sale from £329,950.
These four-bedroom, three-storey, townhouses are built on a sweeping curve. The ground floor, the hub of the house, has a hall, study, kitchen/dining room and cloakroom. On the first floor there is an 18 foot living room which has glazed opening doors to a Juliet balcony. There is also the master bedroom with fitted wardrobes plus en suite shower room.
The second floor comprises three further bedrooms and a bathroom. The homes also come with a garage and car parking space.
There are many other house types, starting from £237,950, currently being sold at Cathcart Gate and available for FirstBuy.
At Kings Hill there are supermarkets, eateries and a pub. There are play areas, cycle paths, woodland walks, a County Park and a choice of good schools. There is also a bus service at Kings Hill to nearby West Malling.
The transport links in the area are excellent with train services from Ashtead International and West Malling to central London and overseas and the M20/M25 within a very short drive and easy access to Maidstone. Kings Hill also has an 18 hole golf course, a doctor's surgery, David Lloyd Sports centre and cricket club.
