Plans for new homes in Eye will be unveiled at an exhibition to be held by housebuilder Larkfleet Homes in January.

The development firm will exhibit the details of the plans for 58 new houses to be built in Thorney Road, Eye, in January at an exhibition for residents.

The developer is looking for public feedback before submitting a planning application for a scheme on land that is already allocated for new homes in Peterborough's Core Strategy and is situated to the east of, and directly adjacent to Larkfleet Homes' existing residential development, Parson's Prospect.

The new homes that are being proposed include a mixture of houses, as well as a selection of affordable homes.

Having already developed a wide range of new homes in the local area, the developer is hoping to secure planning consent for the much needed new homes which will go some way to meeting local housing demand.

The consultation event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 23 January 2013 between 11am and 6pm at Leeds Hall, High Street, Eye.

David Connolly, Land Director at Larkfleet Group, said "Our proposals for these 58 homes will go some way to meet local housing needs.

"We are keen to consult local people on these proposals and we urge residents to come along to the public exhibition to ask questions and share their views."
