Halfway between the Welsh town of Mold and Flint, and close to the border with Cheshire, Redrow's development Northop Park has been so popular that there are only a few homes left. In the Flintshire town, there are only three homes remaining. These are two ‘Cambridge' four-bedroom houses and a final ‘Canterbury' four-bedroom home.

Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), says: "Northop Park has been very popular with homebuyers. But once these remaining homes are gone, they are gone. This is the last chance to buy a property in a location which combines the beautiful North Wales countryside with all that nearby Chester has to offer."

The picturesque village of Northop has easy access to the city of Chester via the A55 and the neighbourhood offers rural living with its Northop Golf and Country Club, two pubs, a post office, cricket club and a small number of boutique shops. The village green hosts various village fetes throughout the summer. The Redrow's New Heritage collection blend well with the historic buildings of Northop.

The homes are open plan and kitchens are well-equipped with integrated top brand name appliances including oven, microwave and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.

Fitted wardrobes, built-in book shelves, outside lights and under lighting to kitchen units are included in the standard specification; while bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings.

Prices are from £307,000 to £329,995 and there could be help available for those with a property to sell.

If none of the remaining properties suit your needs in this development, Redrow also have Heartlands in Buckley with prices starting at £184,995. With quick links to Chester and Liverpool, this development is ideal for commuters and has a selection of properties including three-bedroom semi detached homes to four-bedroom detached houses.

Prices at Cwm Calon in Penallta Colliery, Ystrad Mynach, start at an affordable £147,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached, while at Woodland Meadow in Llanharan prices begin at £215,995 for a four-bedroom detached home.
