Two members of the sales team at Crest Nicholson's Harbourside development in Bristol love it so much they have decided to buy investment properties of their own there.

Heather Murphy and Sheralyn Coombs, who have both worked as sales staff at the waterfront development for several years, have seen the site transform a derelict area of the city centre into an attractive place for people of Bristol to live, work and spend their leisure time.

And, with properties there selling quickly, they have now both chosen to invest in one of last remaining apartments from the Invicta phase of the Harbourside development, which has waterfront views out to the SS Great Britain and the replica of the Matthew. With plans to either rent out or use the property as a city-centre bolt hole, both Heather and Sheralyn see their purchases as a long-term commitment.

"I've wanted to invest in a property here at Harbourside for the past five years and felt that now is the right time to buy," explains Heather. "I've yet to decide on whether to rent the property out or keep it as a city centre pad where I'll be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of Bristol.

"Its prime location means that people will want to live here and be part of the city centre buzz. The additional draw of being next to the waterside is also very appealing for those looking to live in the area."

Sheralyn adds: "I'm delighted to have bought my studio apartment which I've bought as an investment for the future. Having bought a property at Harbourside proves that we both have faith in the product we're selling to other house-hunters which, judging by recent sales, shows that people like what they are seeing."

Harbourside's Invicta is spread over five floors and offers 170 apartments in a variety of styles and sizes, including studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments - although only a few now remain for sale.

Heather adds: "I couldn't recommend Harbourside highly enough and anyone thinking about buying here really does need to act, as availability is fast running out."
